Payments & Safety

We accept payments from major credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Shipping & Delivery

Please know that we are proudly a small business, and as such, in an effort to keep costs manageable, many of our products are made to order. Our goal is to have your purchase produced and ready for shipment within 14 days of your date of purchase. Delivery time is dependent on the shipping option you choose. View the details of our production/processing times and shipping policy here.

We don’t offer free shipping as a standard, but we do often run promotions for shipping. Please check the cart for our current shipping deals.

When a business provides frees shipping as their default, the shipping is never actually FREE. It is ultimately built into the purchase price you’re paying for the product. Because the cost of insuring and shipping fine jewelry is more than many other products, building into the product price the cost of insurance and shipping so that we can make it “free” to our customers impacts our product prices more than it does others. We’d prefer to keep the lower product cost and charge our customers for only what it cost to insure and ship the specific pieces they’ve chosen for purchase. This also means when we offer a free shipping promotion, it is actually saving you money and IS ACTUALLY FREE.

At this time we only ship to the United States and Canada. If you live outside of the US or Canada and would like us to ship to your Country, please reach out to us at Hello@redefiningdiamonds.com and we’ll see if we can work out the details.

We put a lot of thought and care into designing our packaging, and we’d like you to experience it for the first time with your order. However, all jewelry is shipped in non-descript packaging that makes no mention of what is inside. Perfect for gifting and theft prevention.

We want you to love your purchase as much as we do. If for any reason you don't we offer a free 30-day return policy, which provides you with 30 days after the receipt of your purchase to request a return. See our full return policy here.

A refund request can be submitted within a month (30 days) after a purchase is made. See the full details of our policy here

We apologize for any inconvenience, but we’re unable to cancel or change an order once it has been placed. We do offer free returns for 30 days.

Lab Grown Diamonds

YES! And we’re looking forward to squashing any stigma that they’re not. Lab Grown Diamonds are not to be confused with Diamond Simulants like Moissanite or Cubic Zirconia. Lab Grown Diamonds have the EXACT same chemical, physical, and optical properties as Natural Diamonds. The only difference is how they’re made. Lab Grown Diamonds are grown in a controlled environment that reduces the time it takes for the diamond to form, from millions of years, to a few weeks/months.

Lab Grown Diamonds are created using two main methods: High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD).

High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT): This method simulates the natural diamond formation process. A small diamond seed is placed in carbon and subjected to extreme pressure and high temperature conditions, typically around 1,500°C and pressures of 5-6 GPa (equivalent to about 50,000 times atmospheric pressure). This causes the carbon atoms to bond together, layer by layer, forming a larger diamond crystal around the seed.

Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD): In this method, a diamond seed is placed in a sealed chamber filled with a carbon-rich gas, such as methane, and hydrogen. The has is ionized using microwaves or other energy sources, breaking down the molecules and depositing carbon atoms onto the diamond seed. Over time, these caron atoms accumulate and crystallize, forming a larger diamond.

Both methods result in the growth of a diamond crystal that can then be cut, polished, and graded the same as a natural diamond.

The center stones used for all engagement rings are certified stones that will come with their certification. For all other fine jewelry we do not use certified stones but we do include the color and clarity of the stones in each piece in the pieces product details.

Fine Jewelry

Our mission is to celebrate you with quality, affordable, fine jewelry. We feel as though our mission is best served with lab grown diamonds as mined diamonds become cost prohibitive for many. For this reason, we only stock fine jewelry created with lab grown diamonds. With that said, if you have your heart set on a mined stone for your engagement ring, or desire other mined diamond jewelry, we’re not here to shame you or turn you away. We’ll happily create your jewelry with mined diamonds. Please note these will be special order products. Reach out to us for availability and pricing.

You’ve got options! Water and a mild soap. An ultrasonic cleaner. Our eco-friendly jewelry cleaner. Learn the steps for each method here.

All of our jewelry is crafted in 14k gold. However, many of our products can be made in 18k gold or platinum upon request. Please contact us for availability and pricing of additional metal options.

Custom Designs

We LOVE to custom design jewelry and though custom engagement rings are our specialty, we’re not limited to just engagement rings. We can create just about anything your heart desires. Inquire about custom designs here

For custom designed rings, the design time varies and is dependent on complexity of the design and the number of iterations required to perfect your vision. While we can typically work through the process in 8-10 weeks, we suggest allowing a full 12 weeks (3 months) to work through the process to guarantee a delivery in time for your dream proposal. You can learn more about the custom design process here.
