Refund policy

RETURNS

We want you to love your purchase as much as we do. If for any reason you don't we offer a free 30-day return policy, which provides you with 30 days after the receipt of your purchase to request a return.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

INITIATING A RETURN

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@redefiningdiamonds.com with "Return Request" as the emails subject line. Additionally, please provide your order number, and the reason you're requesting the return.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Any custom created/designed items including custom engagement rings.
  • Any engraved or otherwise personalized items.
  • Items delivered more than 30 days from date the return is requested.
  • Items that show signs of being worn or having been altered in any way.
  • Items that no longer have their original tags and packaging. 
  • Items marked "FINAL SALE" on the product page.
  • Damaged items that were not immediately brought to our attention.

THE RETURN PROCESS

Upon receipt of your email, your return request will be evaluated for eligibility.

If your item is eligible for return, we’ll send you a free fully insured return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. You will have an additional 5 days from the date the return label was sent to have your item post marked for return.

Any items missing from the returned package (including original packaging) will need to be returned at the customer’s expense prior to the refund being initiated.

Any items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and will be returned at the expense of the customer.

Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect your item within 10 days to ensure that it meets our return qualifications. To be eligible for a refund your item must be received in new, unused/unworn, unaltered, salable condition with all original tags intact and in its original packaging. 

Should the item be deemed ineligible for return upon inspection, the customer will be contacted to discuss the reason for the decision and so we may make arrangements for the purchase to be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. 

EXCHANGES

Exchanges may only be made for the same item in a different size or color. Exchanged items are still subject to the return policy and its eligibility requirements.

REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. We are unable to process a refund to anywhere other than your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@redefiningdiamonds.com.
